Vancouver Jazz Musicians

What: Coda Magazine is celebrating their 50th Anniversary and to celebrate are organizing to document the state of the Canadian Jazz Scene in 3 photographs inspired by the 50th Anniversary of A Great Day in Harlem (http://www.harlem.org) 3 Photos will be taken at 10AM PST in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. The photo will be used by Coda Magazine in print and online to both celebrate the state of Canadian Jazz (particularly Vancouver Jazz) and the contributions that Coda has made to the Canadian Jazz Scene over the last 50 years. Who: We are looking to gather as many playing professionals as possible as well as other media members, sound engineers, club owners etc. Please pass this invite along to any and all people who would be interested! Where/When: 9AM May 4th, 2008 Bloedel Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park.
