Calling all Toronto area jazz musicians! CODA Magazine wants YOU to be a part of The Quintessential Canadian Jazz Photograph on Sunday May 4th, 2008 at 1 pm. Inspired by the landmark Art Kane 1958 photograph A Great Day in Harlem, and in celebration of their 50th anniversary of publication, CODA Magazine is asking all Toronto area jazz musicians and industry participants to meet at the South end of The Historic Distillery District in front of Balzac’s Coffee Shop (55 Mill Street). The Distillery District is located 1 block South of Front Street, just East of Parliament. Arrivals should begin as early as 11:30pm for registration and mingling! Registration ends at 12:45am and the photograph will be taken at 1:00pm, sharp!
